Third Week

On the third week, I taught the Mathayom 1.1 and 1.2 classes in heat transfer topic. On Monday, I was doing lecturing method to my students. I taught the definition of heat, particles model, and phase changes. I did the lecturing method to my students and I think it isn't working properly because I speak fully in English language because my advisor when she teaches, she did bilingual language in Thai and English language, and maybe there are some words that the student didn’t understand about it, then my advisor said that I speak very fast so I’ll try to speak slowly at the next meeting. In Mathayom 1,3 (A-Jarn Soom class) I taught about Indonesian alphabet again and some Indonesian words to them.

On Tuesday, I did experiment about heat transfers to my student based in my lesson plan. I just had 1 class on Tuesday, so if there any mistakes that happened on that day, I’ll try to fix it on the next day. The students were active and fun while they do that experiment. I divided them into 6 groups and make again 3 expert groups for each heat transfer method are conduction, convection, and radiation method.

For conduction, the students dropped the wax into the metal spot plate and the aluminum stick and then it burned from the tip of the metal spot plate and aluminum stick and students will observe it. About convection, the students filled the water into beaker glass and then it heated. After that potassium permanganate was poured into the water and the students will see the circulation of hot and cold water. For radiation, the students placed them hand near the burner, and then they placed a candle near the burner too, and they dropped the wax into the iron stick and placed near the burner too, and then they observed what happened with it. After they do the experiment, the students went back into them home group and discuss with other friends that what were they get after they do that experiment. They made a presentation and presented in front of the class.

On the next day, A-Jarn from Udon Thani Rajabhat University came to Satrirachinuthit School to observe us. They are A-Jarn Nichata and A-Jarn Dr. Nookorn . I trembled when they observed me in Mathayom 1.2 class. I did the same method with Mathayom 1.1 class, then after they do the presentation, I give them an answer sheet and reward for each group. After teaching, me, Thea, and Resa with all of the observer take some photo in front of building 1. I’m really happy because all of the observer and my advisor said that my lesson plan is good, detail, creative experiment, and good technique even there some part that I want to change, but they think that overall it’s good. 

On the next day, I did my evaluation. I chose bingo as my evaluation and game for my students. They were happy and like it, even they want to play it again. My Bingo game has 25 questions and I chose the number by random number application in my smartphone. After the student saw the question, they will search the answer in bingo paper. The first group that can make 2 lines will be a winner and got a reward.

On Friday, I was invited by Resa to see English Camp held by the foreign department for Mathayom 2. I think that they played an amazing race. It consisted of 6 stations with a different challenge. I was helping them to stay at station 2. They were playing guest singer of the song, so 5 students in different groups were close them eyes than 5 students again stay at the behind of them to give directing of singer photo location. They were happy and enjoy it.

On Saturday, we were going to Nong Khai province for our last trip. I was sad because it signifies that this SEA Teacher Program will finish. We were going to Wat Sala Kaew Ku (Wat Khaek), Prasai Temple, Indo-China Market, and Naka Market. At Indo-China Market, we can see Mekhong River, the longest river in Southeast Asia. From that market too, we can see Laos, but unfortunately, we didn’t go there.

On the next day Dwi, Zidan, and me were jogged at UDRU Stadium. We were sad because why we find that stadium close to the last time of SEA Teacher program. After jogging, we go to the behind of the stadium and there is a fitness park. Without thinking, we immediately played it. We absolutely like it. After that, I spend all day long in my dorm again.
