Fourth Week

On the fourth week, I assisted in Mathayom 1.1 and 1.2 classes. A-Jarn Nonguch taught about equilibrium phase and herbs. I helped A-Jarn Nonguch to assist and teach the common herbs in Indonesia and helped some students that they want to solve the question that has been given by A-Jarn Nonguch.

On Wednesday we were going to the building 12 (Faculty of Education) to present our activity for 1 month as the reflection in Udon Thani. Thea, Resa, and I were presented about our daily activity in Satrirachinuthit School, about school profile, pedagogical contents, observation on the teacher in the classroom, teaching plan, teaching practice, summary, and suggestion too. After we did that presentation, A-Jarn Nichata invite us to join the dinner with all of teachers from Demonstration School Udon Thani Rajabhat University, Ban Makkhaeng School, Udonpittayanukoon School, and Satrirachinuthit School, also with Vice President of Udon Thani Rajabhat University, Dean of Faculty of Education, A-Jarn Kim, A-Jarn Nichata, our buddies, and all of UDRU SEA Teacher Participants. We wore our traditional clothes from our country, and I was wearing Torajanese clothes. After dinner, we showed our country performances. From Indonesia, we showed the video about Indonesia, Zaman dance, and Maumere dance, from the Philippines, they showed drama about Philippines history to get them independent, and from our buddies, they showed our memories during in Thailand, from they picked up us at the airport until that day. A lot of my friends was cried, because we have been made an emotional relationship between them, but we will be separated again, it’s hurt, for sure. After they showed half of that video, they danced. I never saw that dance like that before, I think it’s funny. After that, we went outside to drink some milkshake at Pung Pa Milk Café.

On the next day, that was my last time to teach my students. A-Jarn Nonguch was given me 1 hour to say goodbye in each class. The students were given me a lot of souvenirs. I was just written “Teacher loves you Mathayom 1,1 and 1,2. See you soon” in the Thai language at the whiteboard. They cried and sad because I will leave them. I hope that my student will be a success people in the future, so when we meet again they will be a popular human in Thailand or Udon Thani.

On Friday, Resa, Thea, and I said goodbye in front of 3.434 students. We were taken some photo with students in mathayom 1.1, mathayom 1.2, and mathayom 1.3 also with A-Jarn Nonguch, A-Jarn Soom, and Phi Gack. After school Phi Eye, Phi Krathin, and Phi Gack invited us to have dinner at Pung Pa Milk Café also with A-Jarn Nonguch and A-Jarn Soom. That was our last time to meet together because on Saturday is the weekend and school was the holiday. That night too, Norman was going to Bangkok by bus. I’m sorry because I didn’t deliver him because I don’t know about his itinerary and we still at that café.

On Saturday, we see our friends leave UDRU. The first one is Vel with Thea and Fani that departed at 6.00 am. The next one is Zidan with Nadya, Tresha, and Mel that departed at 9.00 am. The next one again is Agung that departed at 3.00 pm. and the last one who departed on Saturday were Wahyu with Neti and Resa. I, Widhi, Dwi, Jihad, and Kat still stayed for 1 day more. 4 of us (except Kat) were going to UD Town and Walking Street for the last time. We went outside until 10.30 pm. and there wasn’t samlo at that night so we walked to our dorm until we found a police car and we asked them to carry us to go to UDRU, and they accepted it. So, we come back to our dorm in the police car. That was the craziest moment.

On the next day, Kat left us first at 6 am. Finally, 4 of us leave UDRU at 9 am. That was the sad moment because we have become friends but finally, we must separate again, even in the same country but the different island, even in the same island but the different province, even in the same university but different villages. I don’t know where and when we can meet again.
